Humanitas Honoree Gary David Goldberg Set to get Kieser Award

Gary David Goldberg, 67, has advice for brand new authors crafting sitcom moments: "What you would like are individuals laughs of recognition in which the audience sees something of themselves for the reason that moment," he states. In acknowledgement of his capability to "promote a larger appreciation for every person in a persons family," the creator of ྌs juggernaut Family Ties has been honored using the Kieser Award, named following the late Rev. Ellwood "Bud" Kieser, in the 37th annual Humanitas Prize gala Sept. 16 in the Montage Beverly Hillsides.
