Martin just authored a wide open letter to fellow 'SNL' alum Eddie Murphy regarding his Oscar hosting gig the coming year. (Martin has located the show three occasions -- by themself in 2001 and 2003, with Alec Baldwin this year.) Within the note, the wild and crazy guy discusses handling nominees who lose (something Murphy is well-experienced in), in addition to contingency plans when the host will get tired half way with the show. A couple of from the more amusing quotes in the letter are below. Into it entirely, mind on to SteveMartin.com "I heard you're hosting the 2010 Academy awards. To begin with, Champion. Despite the fact that you did not request for my advice and particularly stated, "please, no advice," listed here are a couple of tips! "Anything you do, do not have a co-host. They are a large discomfort plus they just finish up breaking your SNL hosting record... Make sure to relax and have fun while 12,000 livebloggers rip you to definitely shreds. "If you think the show is running lengthy, you are most likely considering 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, or the shows within the 1990's" [via SteveMartin.com] Image thanks to Getty
